Why people come to us

What makes drop-off stressful.

All three are about being kept in the loop and remembered. Updates go out mid-session so you are not guessing, nervous dogs are given the pace they need, and one owner of two dogs wrote that the staff recall exactly what she asks for every single time.

The photos

“The staff here are truly precious gems. My dog is not the easiest to handle at grooming and super camera shy. Thank you Grooming Loft for taking great care of him over the years.”

Anxious dogs

“I was initially a bit nervous about sending my dog to Grooming Loft as he’s usually quite anxious around new people. But the staff there were absolutely amazing with him.”

Years with QZ

What a visit looks like

What happens between drop-off and pick-up.

01

QZ has been here since the start

A customer who has been with her since she opened calls her the best groomer he has come across, across several dogs and several years.

02

Nervous dogs get time, not pressure

The reviews that mention anxiety all end the same way: handled with care and patience, and the owner kept in the loop throughout.

03

You get told what is happening

Updates go out during the session rather than only at the end. It is the difference between waiting and worrying.

04

Then the photographs

Styled, propped and shot before pick-up. Owners come back for these as much as for the grooming.

What we do

Grooming, and the part owners talk about.

Breed, size and coat condition all change the job, so it is quoted for your dog rather than off a list.

Pricing: Quoted when you message. Send a photo of your dog and roughly when you want to come.

Full grooming

Bath, dry, coat work and the finish, for dogs of any size. Pomeranians, poodles, dachshunds and corgis all turn up in their own photographs.

Anxious and nervous dogs

One owner wrote that her dog is anxious around new people and came out of it fine. Patience with that is the thing customers keep naming.

Nails, including the ones you cannot do

An owner who could not get near her dachshund's nails at home brought her here instead. It came back done, and happy.

Updates while you wait

Messages during and after the session. One customer was held up and could only collect late, and was kept informed the whole way through.

The photographs

Every dog gets styled and photographed. Owners say the pictures are better than anything they manage at home, and that is why they post them.

Regulars, remembered

A customer with two dogs wrote that the staff remember exactly what she asks for every single time.

Questions

Before you book.

My dog is nervous with strangers.

Say so when you book. Owners of anxious dogs are the ones who write the longest reviews here, and they all mention patience and being kept updated.

Will I hear anything during the session?

Yes. Updates go out while the groom is happening, not just when it is finished.

Do you really send photos?

Every time, styled and posed. One owner put it as the photos beating anything she could ever have taken herself.

My dog will not let me do his nails.

That is a normal reason to come. One owner brought a squirming dachshund in for exactly that after giving up at home.

What does it cost?

It depends on the breed, the size and the state of the coat. Message on WhatsApp with a photo and you will get a figure.

When are you open?

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, ten till half six. Closed Wednesday and Thursday.

Tell them what he is like on the table.

Squirmy about nails, nervous with new people, impossible about the dryer. All of that is useful before the appointment rather than during it.
